Thanks to Teddy Roosevelt

It’s President’s Day in the US – a holiday which I’ve never really understood but always assumed meant we were supposed to reflect upon the various leaders of our country. This year, I did a little research on Teddy Roosevelt, the 26th president of the United States. An ardent conservationist, Roosevelt is responsible for setting up our national parks and monuments. If you enjoy spending time outdoors, take a second to be grateful that Roosevelt spearheaded the charge to protect some of the more spectacular parts of our country’s land.
