Artists Chris McMahon and Thryza Segal have a cool idea – take those cliche landscape paintings that seem to be in every thrift store and turn them into funky, original art by inserting monsters. More details (and pictures) on TwistedSifter.
Also, a fun game from Publisher’s Weekly…can you identify these vintage book covers with the titles removed? I only managed to get a few. It’s a surprisingly tough, but interesting challenge.
Lastly, for those of you with cats who suffer from ennui…here’s a little movie short that spoofs French films. It’s about a cat articulating his existence. I chuckled the whole way through.
